Lee Schwingler has been actively involved in IT and the Web industry since age 12. Lee’s father was critical of people who want everything but are not willing to work for it. He took that criticism to heart and vowed that no one would ever be able to say that about him. As a result, Lee doesn’t wait for someone else to inspire him or get him moving - when Lee needs to know something he reads, experiments and asks. Many would describe him as self-taught, especially in the area of technology. Lee started his first business when he was twelve. At thirteen, he started volunteering for the Fremont Technology Department, and got his first management position at a national corporation when he was only seventeen. All this work experience before he could even vote has made him an excellent problem solver and given him more common sense than most people that he knows.
In the fall of 2008, Lee was selected as an intern at Deutsch Inc. He felt advertising would be a new challenge for him and would broaden his knowledge and experience. He was asked to manage twelve interns on a viral campaign. Although surprised, he was excited about the idea of spearheading a project when he was an intern himself. His supervisor was impressed with what he was able to offer, in addition to viral tactics and asked him to do QA on STEPLINSIDETHELIFE.COM and EVERYWHEREJUSTGOTBETTER.COM as well as other micro-sites that we launched for SCEA.
Lee is dedicated to success and part of that is working hard to stay on the cutting edge of new technologies, he is often one of the first to adopt new technologies. He is extremely knowledgeable about all things digital: production, development, mobile environments, and A/V production. He also has been on the forefront of video compression and distribution. He has been doing web design and development for over 12 years now. Lee also has a long background in IT and is fluent in Mac/Windows/Linux/Unix operating systems.
